Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong attention to detail and a passion for precision? We are seeking a dependable individual to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. If you have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring equipment, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents.
- Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, snap gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Verify surface finish, hardness, and other product characteristics using appropriate testing equipment.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and inspection results.
- Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to production and quality leadership.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by maintaining accurate inspection records and following quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Previous Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring tools, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Dial Indicators
- Optical Comparator
- Snap Gauges
- Height Gauges
- Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages, and measurements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Available as needed
