Job Title: Test Technician

Summary: Nesco Resource is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Test Technician for a long-term temp opportunity. This role involves electrical and mechanical setup, testing, and validation of electrolyzer and fuel cell technology in a manufacturing environment. Shift:

  • 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay:

  • $23.50 – 24/hr, plus a 12% shift differential, for an effective rate of $26.32 – 26.88/hr.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical setup and testing of electrolyzer and fuel cell technology.

  • Read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for setup and testing procedures.

  • Interface with computers and HMIs to load test protocols, open and analyze data files, and record testing information.

  • Operate manual hand tools and power tools as required for setup activities.

  • Operate material handling equipment, including manual and electric power jacks.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving to diagnose system, subsystem, and ancillary component issues during the manufacturing process.

  • Follow all Environmental Health and Safety regulations and comply with applicable OSHA standards.

  • Maintain proper housekeeping to promote a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.

  • Professionally communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors.

  • Complete manufacturing documentation as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational education or training preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a testing position; electro-mechanical assembly experience desired.

  • Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and computer skills.

  • Experience with LabVIEW or similar software preferred.

  • Comfortable operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

  • Ability to work overtime as assigned and maintain a flexible schedule based on manufacturing demand.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office software programs.

  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail.

  • Team player with a positive and professional communication style.

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods while performing job functions.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
