First shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
$18.00 - $24.00 hr.

Summary
The technician provides essential support for the manufacturing of medical device components. This role involves collaboration with the manufacturing team, the Client Project lab, ATG group, and contract testing efforts for materials and medical devices. The technician will be responsible for providing lab testing services in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards. Key tasks include receiving and logging test information, performing sample preparation, conducting standard and specialized tests, and analyzing and reporting the results from testing.
Responsibilities
- Follow ASTM and ISO standards for material testing
- Prepare, image, and test metallographic specimens
- Operate analytical testing equipment and report results
- Operate material testing equipment and report results
- Perform dimension inspection with various metrology techniques
- Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment
- Notify departments of any product failures and assist with analysis
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and modifying testing procedures and work instructions
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience with operating manufacturing and/or test equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Familiarity with ISO and ASTM compliance
- Preemployment drug test and background check is required
