Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Nesco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator to support a Vision Repair team in both administrative and hands-on technical responsibilities. This is a unique dual-role opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer interaction, technical coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
Approximately 70% of this role will involve office-based responsibilities such as customer service, sourcing vendors, coordinating outsourced repairs, reviewing products, managing drawings, and purchasing activities. The remaining 30% will involve assisting with hands-on equipment and product repairs alongside the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate repair orders and outsourced repair activities

Source replacement parts and manage vendor relationships

Handle purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory support

Review products and maintain technical documentation and drawings

Create and manage drawings using CAD or comparable software

Enter and track sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices

Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process

Assist with equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair work

Support the General Manager with hands-on repairs as needed

Maintain organized records and ensure timely project follow-up
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field

CAD or comparable software experience required

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to interpret technical information and drawings

Comfortable working both in an office environment and in a hands-on technical setting
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or GIS software

QuickBooks and/or Fishbowl experience

Mechanical aptitude or hands-on repair experience

Customer service or technical support experience
