Step into a hands-on leadership role where you'll not only assist the Production Supervisor but also excel as a highly skilled laser operator. Be a vital part of our workstation team, where you'll coordinate activities, ensure compliance, perform quality checks, and tackle first-level technical challenges. Your role will also involve moving products efficiently, assisting with training, and operating lasers with precision.
- Prepare documents, production sheets, and reports accurately as required by the contracting customer.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives and share insights with your team.
- Motivate and guide team members to perform at their best, assigning tasks based on individual strengths.
- Proactively communicate issues to minimize downtime.
- Demonstrate job duties and observe team performance to ensure adherence to procedures and safety regulations.
- Encourage team members to stay focused and consistently achieve quality and throughput goals.
- Regularly communicate objectives, expectations, and results to all team members.
- Ensure team members have the materials and supplies necessary to complete tasks.
- Verify and record production work accurately, transferring data to customer databases.
- Oversee the preparation of shipment of finished goods to contracting customers.
- Keep supervisors informed about contract performance issues, including potential delays.
- Communicate worker performance related to quality and quantity for proper recognition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years of previous experience in production.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Inventory management skills.
- Preemployment drug test and background check is required
