Location: Centralia, MO
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume manufacturing recruiting across multiple locations. This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, attract top talent, and ensure an efficient, compliant hiring process for hourly manufacturing positions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record of successfully recruiting high-volume hourly manufacturing talent.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract, screen, and hire high-volume hourly manufacturing talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through offer acceptance and hire.
  • Create and manage job postings, candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and offer processes.
  • Conduct candidate screening interviews and coordinate both onsite and virtual interviews.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
  • Serve as the primary recruiting contact for assigned manufacturing locations.
  • Build strong working relationships with site leadership while aligning with centralized Talent Acquisition strategies.

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Utilize multiple sourcing strategies including:
    • Job boards
    • Social media
    • Employee referrals
    • Community partnerships
    • Networking
  • Build and maintain strong local talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Stay informed on local labor market trends and provide recruiting recommendations.

Recruiting Operations

  • Support onsite recruiting events, hiring events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide reporting to Talent Acquisition leadership and HR partners.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure recruiting activities remain compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Proficiency using social media and professional networking tools for sourcing candidates.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or facilities.
  • Experience recruiting within industrial or utility-related industries.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors or a similar Applicant Tracking System.
  • Experience coordinating onsite hiring events and community recruiting initiatives.
