Recruiter
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote with onsite requirements)
Candidates must be able to report two times per month to one of the following office locations:
- Southfield, MI
- Irving, TX
- Orlando, FL
- Dublin, OH
Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting activities within an assigned region while partnering with operational leadership to develop and execute effective staffing strategies. This role focuses on attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent in a high-volume recruiting environment while supporting regional and corporate hiring objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to support regional hiring goals.
- Source experienced and entry-level candidates through networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, and other recruiting channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Develop and maintain competitor candidate databases.
- Utilize recruiting technologies and sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates.
Candidate Management
- Screen, interview, and evaluate applicants.
- Maintain applicant records within Workday and other recruiting systems.
- Coordinate and initiate background checks.
- Extend verbal offers and manage offer acceptance communications.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including start dates and orientation scheduling.
Recruiting Events & Partnerships
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and open houses.
- Support college recruiting and internship hiring initiatives.
- Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and professional networks to expand talent pipelines.
Business Partnership
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Provide recruiting guidance and market insights.
- Support training for HR team members on recruiting best practices.
- Manage recruiting expenditures by utilizing cost-effective sourcing methods and third-party recruiting resources.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within Talent Acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of staffing or recruiting experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume, difficult-to-source environment.
- Experience using Workday Recruiting is required.
- Strong sourcing experience using internet recruiting tools and networking.
- Experience managing candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Insurance industry recruiting experience preferred.
