Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Advisor/Specialist will join a collaborative and fast-paced Talent Acquisition team responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring high-quality talent across multiple business functions.
This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to understand workforce needs, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
Success in this role requires a proactive recruiter who can serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, manage a high-volume requisition workload, utilize data to guide recruiting strategies, and creatively source candidates for a variety of professional and operational positions.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from initial intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand departmental needs, position requirements, and candidate qualifications.
- Manage approximately 15–20 open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Screen and qualify candidates and present strong candidates to hiring managers within established service-level expectations.
- Partner with hiring managers and interview teams to review candidates following interviews and determine appropriate next steps.
- Prepare and extend employment offers to selected candidates.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Operations, and HR Business Partners to support candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding process.
Sourcing & Talent Attraction
- Proactively source qualified and diverse candidates using multiple recruiting channels and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Recruit for a variety of professional and operational positions, including:
- Engineering
- Accounting
- Finance
- Sales
- Information Technology
- Operations
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools to identify qualified talent.
- Develop recruiting strategies designed to improve candidate pipelines and attract high-quality talent.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on recruiting, candidate selection, and hiring best practices.
- Develop strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.
- Provide guidance throughout the recruiting and selection process.
- Champion Talent Acquisition best practices and help hiring teams make informed recruiting decisions.
- Build credibility with internal stakeholders through responsiveness, communication, and recruiting expertise.
Recruiting Strategy & Analytics
- Help design and develop recruiting strategies as the organization continues to refine its Talent Acquisition processes.
- Utilize recruiting data and metrics to evaluate results and adjust sourcing or recruiting approaches as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate pipelines, and overall hiring effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage approximately 15–20 requisitions simultaneously.
- Strong candidate sourcing and screening experience.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and HR Business Partners.
- Strong experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
- Ability to recruit across multiple professional and operational disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and influence hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, close-knit team.
- Comfortable working in a largely autonomous environment where individuals are trusted to manage their responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Combination of corporate and agency recruiting experience.
- Recruiting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience recruiting for Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Sales, IT, and Operations positions.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
