Overview
Join our team as a Tablet Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality tablets. This position requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain our company's quality standards. You will work under the guidance of production management.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies.
  • Maintain good health and hygiene practices, including proper gowning and glove changes.
  • Set-up, calibrate, and operate tablet press machines efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize tablet press equipment and production areas.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Accurately record all necessary data on batch production records using good documentation practices.
  • Monitor tablet weight, hardness, and thickness, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Identify and label all containers of tableted products correctly.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including operating manuals.
  • Proficiency in basic math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Familiarity with using calculators and scales.
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using mechanical tools such as wrenches, pliers, and hammers.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 200 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for using tools and equipment.
  • Capability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach, lift, and stack products weighing 5-15 lbs repeatedly.
  • Good vision for reading details at close range.
