Overview
Client is seeking a senior System Integration Test Engineer to support the integration and testing of software-intensive systems within a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory. This role will own multiple system capabilities and support requirements analysis, test development, manual test execution, anomaly investigation, failure-mode testing, and test automation.
Core Responsibilities
- Break down system requirements for assigned capabilities.
- Develop test cases that verify system requirements.
- Execute manual system testing within a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory.
- Record test results using the designated test log tool.
- Create anomaly reports for issues identified during testing.
- Partner with software engineers to investigate, document, and troubleshoot anomalies found in the lab.
- Develop and execute failure-mode testing for assigned system capabilities.
- Support the development and automation of system test cases.
- Develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Active Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years or current Continuous Evaluation enrollment.
- 10 years of experience integrating and/or testing software-intensive systems in a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory.
- 5 years of experience with JIRA, GitLab, and/or GitHub.
- 5 years of experience with Eggplant, Cucumber, and/or Python.
- 5 years of experience with Omniview and mission planning CONOPS.
- Experience developing system test cases from requirements.
- Experience performing manual system testing and documenting test results.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting anomaly reports.
- Experience with failure-mode testing and automated testing.
- Ability to develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies.
Work Details
- Onsite, full-time position.
- Monday through Thursday, second shift.
- Working hours are 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- 4/10-B work schedule.
- Non-exempt position.
- Role requires access to ECI information.
