Overview
Client is seeking a User Access / IAM Analyst to support role-based access, user provisioning, access reviews, and audit readiness. This role helps ensure users have the correct access for their job functions through least-privilege principles while supporting internal security policies and external audit requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end user access lifecycle activities, including new account creation, permission changes, transfers, and offboarding de-provisioning.
- Support role discovery and access governance by documenting business roles and aligning technical permissions to job functions.
- Maintain Role-Based Access Control models to support least-privilege access.
- Facilitate periodic user access reviews and access certification campaigns.
- Provide reporting to managers and collect formal signoffs for compliance requirements.
- Collect audit evidence for internal and external audit requests, including SOX-related documentation.
- Extract system logs and provide verified documentation of compliant access controls.
- Monitor for Segregation of Duties conflicts and remediate conflicting access combinations.
- Investigate and resolve access-related issues and authentication failures across enterprise platforms.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Experience with user access provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Experience supporting identity lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control and least-privilege access principles.
- Experience with user access reviews, access certifications, or access governance.
- Understanding of audit evidence collection and compliance documentation.
- Exposure to SOX, internal controls, or external audit requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot access issues and authentication failures.
