What You’ll Do:
-
Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes
-
Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and setup sheets
-
Load materials (bar stock) and monitor machine performance
-
Install and adjust cutting tools, guide bushings, and tool holders
-
Perform tight-tolerance inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Complete in-process inspections and documentation
-
Identify and report defects or machining issues
-
Perform routine machine maintenance (coolant, oils, lubrication)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You Bring:
-
Experience operating or setting up Swiss lathes(preferred)
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
Ability to read and understand blueprints and tolerances
-
Experience with precision measuring instruments
-
High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, tolerances)

Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Bonus If You Have:

Experience with tight-tolerance machining
-
Multi-axis CNC or Swiss machine background
-
Troubleshooting and minor program adjustment experience
