Job Summary : This role ensures components are received, stocked, issued, and tracked efficiently to support production schedules and customer commitments. The position serves as a key link between suppliers, outsourced service providers, inventory control, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Material Receiving & Inventory Control
- Receive and process supplier components using Infor XA/AS400.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Stock materials in designated inventory locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform daily stocking and issuance of components for Work-in-Process (WIP) and Final Assembly operations.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory min/max levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Track and monitor supplier deliveries, past-due purchase orders, and forecasted demand requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery status and potential shortages.
- Utilize XA, Power BI, and Power Apps to monitor inventory, supplier performance, and order status.
- Support inventory planning activities through forecasting and demand monitoring.
- Coordinate shipments to and from outsourced vendors, including plating and other processing suppliers.
- Track outsourced orders to ensure materials are processed and returned on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of outsourced inventory and vendor transactions.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, shipments, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate daily with Production to ensure material availability supports production schedules.
- Identify potential material shortages and escalate concerns proactively.
- Support company objectives related to on-time delivery, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within inventory and supply chain processes.
Desired Skills and Abilities :
- Experience using Infor XA, AS400, or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, production planners, and internal departments.

Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Education Requirements :
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred , not required
Physical Demands :
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and industrial repair facility environment.
- Frequent walking throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to participate in physical inventory counts and material handling activities as required.
Working Conditions : Works in a controlled climate. Small amounts of machine noise.
