Job Summary:
Seeking a Supplier Quality Documentation Reviewer (Contract) who is responsible for utilizing basic Quality function experience and skills for supporting the Advanced Supplier Quality team. The Supplier Quality Documentation Reviewer (contract) position will review supplier submission package reviews (PPAP, FAI and customer specific) and will be trained and supported by ASQE team members on project work. It is preferred the Supplier Quality Documentation Reviewer be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review supplier PPAP, FAI and customer-specific submission packages against program, engineering and purchase order requirements.
• Identify missing or nonconforming documentation and follow up with suppliers/ internal ASQE leads on required corrections.
• Coordinate technical questions and escalations with ASQEs and Engineering.
• Upload approved documentation and maintain submission tracking logs and status updates.
• Support timely approvals and part release to meet program build dates.
Education and Experience (Required):
• Three years of related manufacturing quality experience
• Related quality experience must include functions other than inspection.
• Recent quality experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industry.
Quality Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (Required):
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate dimensional results and material certifications.
• Basic engineering, drawing interpretation and GD&T knowledge.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
.• Proficient oral and written communication in English.
