Sourcing Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support the execution and maintenance of our global supply base. This role is responsible for executing sourcing initiatives, supplier contract management activities, and transactional procurement tasks while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and data integrity across procurement systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, supplier negotiations, SAP, and supply chain operations, along with a strong business mindset and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of global strategic sourcing initiatives and Annual Operating Plan objectives.
- Execute transactional sourcing activities while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support sourcing and supplier management initiatives.
- Assist with commodity management and supplier negotiations.
- Prepare, process, and maintain supplier documentation, including:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Unilateral Letters
- Novation Agreements
- Assignments and Assumptions
- Review contract amendments prior to signature to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create, complete, and submit compliance packages, including:
- Extended Terms Requests (ETRs)
- Supplier scorecards
- FAIRS documentation
- Fair and Reasonable Price Justifications (FRPJs)
- Maintain SAP data, including:
- Minimum order quantities
- Price validation
- Contract validation
- Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) validation
- Prepare and distribute Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
- Process Vendor Master and Material Master updates.
- Analyze historical demand and receipt data to support sourcing decisions.
- Upload documentation into contract management systems.
- Initiate Should Cost Estimate (SCE) requests.
- Research platform details within designated systems.
- Resolve purchase order and supplier portal issues.
- Support and analyze CID and BAA content analysis activities.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing experience.
- Experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting supplier management and sourcing activities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sourcing, procurement, and supplier negotiations.
- Project management and/or contract management experience.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Project Management, or Contract Management.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Experience with eSourcing platforms, RFQ tools, project management software, and contract management systems.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
