We are seeking a Star Swiss Lathe Operator to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift upon completion of training. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining Star Swiss-type CNC lathes to produce high-precision components in accordance with blueprint specifications and quality standards..
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Star Swiss CNC lathe machines
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Ensure parts meet strict quality requirements
- Make tool offsets and minor program adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong focus on producing quality parts
- Positive attitude and strong mechanical aptitude
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- No cell phone use permitted on plant floor
