Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, stacking, and tracking materials within the warehouse while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas
- Move goods to and from storage racks, shelves, and staging areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and tracking items
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with order picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels
- May involve working in varying temperatures depending on facility
- Fast-paced environment with productivity goals
