Stamping Machine Set-Up Operator – 2nd Shift

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM–11:45 PM
Overtime:
Available based on production needs
Job Summary
Responsible for setting up, operating, and tearing down high-speed reel-to-reel progressive stamping machines to produce quality metal parts. Duties include adjusting machine settings, troubleshooting equipment, inspecting parts, and completing production documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tear down progressive stamping machines.
- Adjust tooling, machine settings, and feeders as needed.
- Monitor production and inspect parts for quality.
- Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and report major problems.
- Complete production logs, setup sheets, and die repair documentation.
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools to verify part specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive stamping setup and/or operation experience .
- Ability to read blueprints and production documentation.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and a comparator.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift.
Pay: $18/hour plus $2 shift differential
Preferred: Experience with Vamco gear feeds, PA Industries servo feeders, or pneumatic feeders.
