Rope Splicer

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Rope Splicer to join our team in Altamonte Springs. The Rope Splicer will be responsible for splicing, cutting, measuring, assembling, and inspecting various types of rope and cable products. The ideal candidate has good hand dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform rope splicing using established techniques and procedures.

• Cut, measure, assemble, and terminate rope and cable products.

• Use hand tools and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.

• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and product specifications.

• Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.

• Identify defective or damaged materials and report issues.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• Perform other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous rope splicing, rigging, marine, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

• Comfortable working with hand tools.

• Ability to read measurements and follow written instructions.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift and handle materials as required.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
