Responsibilities
- Safely operate can-lifters and forklifts to transport empty and full cans.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance machine efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste.
- Accurately and efficiently perform data entry tasks.
- Manage creeling and decreeling of cans in the Stretch Line area.
- Complete production sheets and doff cans as required.
- Maintain and replace can-lifter batteries as needed.
- Perform routine housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in spin and stretch operations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Follow quality procedures to meet customer product standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating can-lifters and forklifts.
- Ability to read, write, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Competency in basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience in operating hoists for transporting batteries.
- Basic computer skills for data entry tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
