Description:
Software Product Acquisition Manager- for the hardware IPT (Integrated Product Team) which is responsible for managing supplier software development supporting mission computing products

What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Product Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all supplier software activities, influencing design decisions, and ensuring timely, high quality deliveries.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Provide engineering management and oversight of supplier software development
• Coordinate supplier software deliveries and report periodic project status to Program Management.
• Manage Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue resolution.
• Maintain entries in the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and flight series data modules.
• Update and publish Interface Requirements Specification and message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS).

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong discipline in software development processes and methodologies.

Desired Skills
• Experience with JIRA, SW Depot, CART and Automet
• Experience with SIMS
• Supplier technical management experience
• Eligible for programs specific clearance.
