Monday thru Friday 6Am to 2:30PM
weekends off
$17 per hour
Job Summary:
The Chip Slitter Operator supports production operations by assisting with machine setup, material handling, and finished product processing. This role ensures efficient workflow and quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load rolls of paper onto the chip slitter machine safely and efficiently
- Secure and setting up cutting plates used to slot paper materials
- Support machine startup and monitor basic operation alongside the operator
- Remove cut paper pieces from conveyor belts during production
- Stack finished products onto pallets, place into boxes, or load into cages as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
Work Environment:
- Industrial/manufacturing setting
- Standing for extended periods
- Exposure to moving machinery and production equipment
