Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and committed to providing excellent support to shipping and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, and label products for shipment according to customer and company requirements
  • Verify shipment contents against packing slips, work orders, and shipping documentation
  • Receive incoming deliveries and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Unload, unpack, sort, and distribute incoming materials to designated locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Organize stock and materials to ensure efficient storage and retrieval
  • Process shipping and receiving paperwork and enter information into computer systems
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely shipment of orders
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move materials safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or shipping software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
