Side Frame Welder

is currently seeking a skilled Side Frame Welder
for one of our premier clients. This position performs critical welding operations on side frame assemblies using straight MIG and fluxcore welding procedures.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations on side frame assemblies utilizing straight MIG and fluxcore procedures.
- Comprehend and adhere to production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product, with the ability to adapt to scheduling changes.
- Inspect work performed within the department to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools and tape measures while accurately reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Maintain an organized workplace and keep clean records of all jobs performed in the department.
- Operate equipment safely, including training to use an overhead crane.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must pass visual welding tests(horizontal, downhill, and overhead using straight MIG; horizontal using fluxcore).
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with co-workers and management.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Prior experience in the welding and fit-up of side frames is a plus.
