Nesco Resource is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk
for a Manufacturing/ Logistics company in Canton, MI.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in working within a logistics/warehouse setting.
Location:
Canton, MI
Shift:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (must be open to OT)
Pay Rate:$17-18/hr, per level of experience
Job Duties:
- Review schedule for appointments to complete orders
- Unloading truck containers and moving to assigned location in warehouse
- Loading products for shipping from designated locations in warehouse per order specifications
- Coordinate paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments with third-party trucking companies
- Monitor order status using both internal and external tracking systems
- Verify and check outbound customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse tools.
- Accurately enter data into systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Interact with truck drivers to confirm deliveries and ensure documentation is complete.
- Support inventory accuracy, returns processing, and damage control procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and work efficiently to meet daily deadlines
- Notify supervisors of any non-complying parts
- Perform additional administrative and warehouse support tasks as assigned.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills required, especially with Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to use PCs, scanners, calculators, and other warehouse technology.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM preferred.
- Must have excellent attendance and be open to working overtime.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- RF scanner experience, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse, shipping, or logistics environment, preferred
