Nesco Resource is looking for a Shipping Coordinator located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM
Pay:
$26/Hour Depending on Experience
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience coordinating shipments, and the ability to maintain accurate shipping documentation while ensuring orders are processed and delivered on time.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Experience coordinating shipments, scheduling carrier pickups, and tracking deliveries.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse experience preferred.
