Shipping Coordinator

$23.00–$24.00/hour
Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the storage, receiving, and shipment of products while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate receiving, storing, testing, and shipping activities.
- Provide shipping instructions and routing information.
- Coordinate with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries.
- Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates.
- Help plan transportation routes and delivery schedules.
- Review invoices, work orders, and forecasts to prepare for peak shipping periods.
- Resolve damages, shortages, and product discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
- Support warehouse safety and security procedures.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and operational or safety documentation.
- Inspect warehouse conditions, equipment, and vehicle fleets.
- Assist with related shipping and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of related warehouse, shipping, logistics, or coordination experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
