Position Overview
A growing manufacturing operation in Tulsa is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily material movement, inventory, and production activities.
This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, preparing finished products and components for outbound shipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to work closely with production and quality personnel.
Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials, parts, supplies, and other shipments

Verify incoming items against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation

Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies

Accurately identify and track part numbers, quantities, and material

Enter receiving and shipping information into company systems

Label, organize, and properly store incoming materials

Pull and stage parts and materials for production as needed

Package finished parts and components for shipment

Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, packing slips, and related documentation

Coordinate outbound shipments with common carriers and freight providers

Maintain accurate inventory and material records

Communicate material or shipment discrepancies to the appropriate department

Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and other internal teams

Maintain an organized and safe shipping and receiving area

Follow established quality, safety, and material-handling procedures

Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed
Qualifications
-
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred

Manufacturing experience strongly preferred

Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is a plus

Ability to accurately read part numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation

Basic computer skills and experience entering information into inventory or ERP systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively with production and office personnel

Forklift or material-handling equipment experience is a plus

Ability to lift and move materials as required

Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
