Shipping Clerk
Pay Rate:$22.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE

32nd Street and University Drive, Phoenix, AZ
Duration:
Approximately 8 weeks
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, either 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM(final schedule to be determined)
Nesco Resource is currently hiring a Shipping Clerk for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ. This is a temporary opportunity supporting the Supply Chain team and is ideal for candidates with shipping, warehouse, and forklift experience.
Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating daily shipping activities, processing outgoing hardware shipments, and working with customers, suppliers, and transportation companies. This role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a forklift and handle materials safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Process hardware shipments using internal MRP systems and customer shipping portals
- Package outgoing products and prepare shipping documentation
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers such as UPS and FedEx
- Create job sheets and shipping paperwork
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Interact professionally with customers and suppliers
- Assist with data entry and inventory tracking
- Perform other shipping and warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Data entry experience
- MRP system experience is a plus
- Experience with shipping systems and carrier portals is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and safety shoes
