Shipper / Packer – Milford, CT | Temp-to-Hire
Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable Shipper/Packer for a growing company in Milford, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to join a great team and build a long-term career.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and label products accurately according to work orders.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before shipment.
- Build and stage pallets and cartons for outbound shipments.
- Verify quantities and item numbers to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving, inventory, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Enter and update transactions in NetSuite (experience a plus).
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, packing, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
