Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, driving equipment reliability, and ensuring efficient operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, a background in maintenance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay Rate:
- $65,000 – $118,000 annually + bonus eligibility
Shift:
- 12-Hour Rotating Fireman's Schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage maintenance team members during assigned shift
- Develop team skills through coaching, training, and performance management
- Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and staffing needs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA)
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
- Respond to equipment downtime and provide escalation support as needed
- Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor work documentation and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support development and execution of preventative maintenance programs
- Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, and operational goals
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working in GMP or regulated environments preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing/lab environment with exposure to chemicals and industrial equipment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 10–15 lbs as needed
- Must follow all PPE and safety requirements
- Occasional travel (<5%, with potential for short-term higher travel during equipment commissioning)
