Job Summary:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met while providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members. This role serves as the primary point of contact between employees and management, helping coordinate workflows, resolve issues, and promote a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support team members in daily operations.
- Assign and prioritize work to ensure deadlines and production goals are met.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Communicate company updates, expectations, and operational changes to the team.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a related field.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other job-related software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
