Description:
Aeronautics is seeking a Service Life Analysis Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. A successful candidate will apply their understanding of Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) analysis using fracture mechanics to develop innovative and ingenious solutions to highly complex technical problems. Responsibilities for this position may include:
- DaDT and Fatigue analysis, detail part sizing, and strength assessment of aircraft primary and secondary structure and systems
- Using crack initiation and crack growth analysis tools to perform design sizing, Material Review Board (MRB), drawing review, and preparing analysis reports
- Development of force management source data to actively manage airframe to ensure safe operation
- Development and implementation of Force Structural Maintenance Plans (FSMPs) and Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) to support force management activities
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
