Senior Paralegal – Hybrid

About the Opportunity

A well-established Manhattan law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join its practice in Manhattan.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of their work, managing multiple matters, and working in a fast-paced legal environment. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and other legal professionals while taking a key role in managing a significant caseload.

What You'll Do

• Manage and coordinate a high-volume caseload involving commercial property tax matters.

• Assist attorneys with pleadings, filings, correspondence, and other legal documents.

• Collect, review, and organize property, assessment, and valuation information.

• Track case activity, deadlines, and required filings to keep matters moving forward.

• Prepare and coordinate documents that require accuracy and compliance with specific filing procedures.

• Independently manage deadlines and competing priorities while knowing when to bring issues to an attorney's attention.

• Serve as a resource to other paralegals regarding procedures, workflow, and case-related questions.

• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and other parties as needed.

• Work additional hours when necessary to meet important deadlines.

• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of paralegal or comparable legal support experience.

• Experience in commercial real estate, property tax, litigation, or a related practice is preferred.
