Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Work Environment: Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week
Location: Round Rock, TX

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys working across the full application stack. In this role, you'll contribute to database development, backend services, API development, and front-end application work depending on project needs and sprint priorities.

What Makes You a Good Fit

You'll likely be a strong match if you consider yourself a true full stack engineer and are comfortable moving between SQL Server, C#/.NET APIs, backend services, and Angular/TypeScript front-end work. You should enjoy hands-on development, solving technical problems, supporting application stability, and collaborating with a team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and improve full stack software applications that support important business operations.
  • Work across the database, API, backend, and front-end layers based on user stories and sprint priorities.
  • Build and maintain applications, backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# and modern .NET technologies.
  • Develop and support front-end features using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related UI tools.
  • Create, update, and optimize SQL Server database functionality, including queries, stored procedures, and data-driven application features.
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings, share progress updates, and collaborate with other team members to meet sprint goals.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions for new features, system improvements, and performance enhancements.
  • Assist with application deployments, system updates, and post-release support.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues, identify root causes, and make code updates to resolve defects.
  • Provide development estimates based on requirements, technical complexity, and project timelines.
  • Help develop, package, and deploy applications using Docker or similar containerization tools.
  • Document code, technical processes, and application functionality as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong full stack development experience across database, API, backend, and front-end application layers.
  • Hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET / .NET Core development.
  • Experience designing and building APIs, backend services, and microservices.
  • Front-end development experience using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related client-side technologies.
  • SQL Server database development experience.
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and partial page updates.
  • Good understanding of component-based web application architecture and separation of concerns between front-end clients and backend services.
  • Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture principles.
  • Experience designing modular, maintainable, scalable, and high-performance software systems.
  • Experience or strong working knowledge of multi-threading concepts.
  • Practical experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues and support production or post-deployment environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Commitment to writing clean, reliable, maintainable code.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced experience with modern .NET technologies.
  • Experience supporting applications in Linux-based environments.
  • Cloud solution experience across Linux and/or Windows platforms.
  • Working knowledge of message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven communication patterns.
  • Unit testing experience and a strong focus on code quality.
  • Familiarity with UI tools and frameworks such as Kendo UI, Material Design, or Tailwind.
  • Experience working in both web-based and desktop/application environments.
  • Informal or formal technical leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting high-availability or business-critical software applications.
