Senior Electrical Engineer

We’re partnering with a specialized engineering organization developing advanced power electronics and acoustic systems used in high-performance underwater applications. This is a hands-on R&D role working on next-generation technology supporting mission-critical environments.
This position sits within a small, highly technical team focused on designing and developing power supplies and amplifier systems from concept through production.
Responsibilities:
Lead Research design and development of power electronic circuits and systems
Perform advanced circuit analysis, modeling, and simulation (LTspice, Plexim, etc.)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across R&D programs
Develop and execute technical plans aligned to project goals and timelines
Work hands-on with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, electronic loads, probes)
Support program communication alongside project leadership
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally within power electronics
Strong circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and PCB layout experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, R&D-focused environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a security clearance (preferred)
