Saw Operator / Production Associate
We are currently hiring a Saw Operator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution team. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders and cut lumber to required specifications
- Set up and adjust saw equipment for accurate cuts
- Feed lumber through saws safely and efficiently
- Stack and organize finished materials
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs, including dull saw blades
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or saw operation experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (to 1/16 ")
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Team player with a commitment to safety and quality
Work Environment
- Indoor industrial/warehouse setting
- Standing for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and moving materials
- Exposure to machinery, dust, and loud noise (PPE provided)
