Nesco Resource is now hiring for 1st Shift Sander positions at a facility in Hickory, NC.
Job Description and Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Sander to join a manufacturing team. This position will primarily support the sanding process in the flagcase area while also assisting in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sanding duties on wood products to meet quality standards
- Inspect materials to ensure smooth finish and proper preparation
- Assist in various manufacturing areas as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Work efficiently to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous sanding experience required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour
Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
