Sales Representative / Sales Engineer

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Southern California – OMTC)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Representative / Sales Engineer to support growth in third-party business. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and executing targeted sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between sales and technical teams, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and effectively translated throughout the sales cycle. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Opportunity Management

  • Develop tender and proposal strategies
  • Conduct headquarters review of proposal components
  • Determine disposition of tenders and proposals
  • Develop opportunity assessments and engagement plans
  • Identify and capture new leads
  • Qualify leads and convert them into viable opportunities
  • Prioritize opportunities for engagement

Sales Execution

  • Plan and execute cross-sell and upsell strategies
  • Prepare and negotiate sales quotes
  • Determine final disposition of sales quotes

Contract Management

  • Prepare contract amendments
  • Manage contract suspensions and early terminations
  • Support contract renewals

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Investigate and validate events impacting business
  • Collect market activity intelligence
  • Gather and analyze unit-level intelligence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between sales and technical teams
  • Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and addressed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or sales engineering
  • Strong ability to identify opportunities and build client relationships
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment
