Core Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Cultivate lasting relationships with local clientele. Train staff in customer service, merchandising, stocking, etc.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee the creative layout, window displays, and aesthetic representation of the brand inside the store to drive engagement and foot traffic.
- Team Cultivation: Recruit, train, and mentor a small, cohesive team of brand ambassadors who are passionate about the boutique's style and aesthetic.
- Sales & Inventory Management: Track boutique sales goals, manage inventory turnover, coordinate with vendors or buyers, and handle shipping/receiving for new collections.
- Daily Operations: Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, scheduling, local boutique marketing/events, and social media content creation (if applicable).
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a premium, apparel, or specialty boutique setting.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of current fashion/lifestyle trends, excellent styling capability, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Vibe: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of acting as the face of the boutique within the local community.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including peak boutique hours (weekends and seasonal events).
