Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and motivated Re-Packer for our client in Chesterfield, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Position Details

• Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour

• Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

• Training: Must be available to train at the Pontiac location for 5–6 weeks.

• Employment Type: Contract-to-hire

Job Summary

The Re-Packer is responsible for transferring, sorting, and visually inspecting assembled parts, repacking products, and assisting with general warehouse cleanup and waste disposal. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer and repack products from one pallet to another.

• Sort and visually inspect assembled parts.

• Build and prepare boxes, containers, and packaging materials.

• Remove general trash and debris from the warehouse.

• Break down cardboard pallets and stack materials for the compactor.

• Band pallets for disposal as needed.

• Dispose of plastic and wood waste in designated dumpsters.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.

• Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well with a diverse team.

• Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
