Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring production parts meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with customer specifications and internal quality requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and routine in-process quality checks on the production floor.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality logs, and testing data in company systems.
- Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming materials or defective parts, and report findings to leadership.
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machining, or a production environment preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and data entry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
