Part Inspector – Manufacturing ** URGENT NEED

Nesco Resource is Hiring a Part Inspector!

Are you detail-oriented, quality-driven, and experienced in a manufacturing environment? Nesco Resource is seeking a Part Inspector to join a precision manufacturing team!

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, understands manufacturing processes, and enjoys ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections of precision-manufactured turbine blades and vanes.

• Verify completion of CNC machining, EDM, waterjet cutting, and finishing operations.

• Review work orders, travelers, routers, and inspection documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Confirm dimensional inspection results meet required specifications.

• Identify, document, and report defects, discrepancies, or nonconforming parts.

• Maintain proper part identification and traceability throughout the inspection process.

• Handle finished components carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mixed products.

• Communicate quality concerns promptly to supervisors and production personnel.

• Follow established quality procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  Calipers, Micrometers, measuring specs.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or aerospace production.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects or incomplete operations.

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing documentation and written instructions.

• Basic computer skills for reviewing inspection records and electronic documentation.

• Familiarity with CNC machining, EDM, waterjet cutting, or manufacturing finishing processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with production and quality teams.

• Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Experience:

• Inspection of precision-machined or investment-cast components.

• Familiarity with turbine blades, vanes, or aerospace manufacturing.

• Experience reviewing dimensional inspection results and manufacturing travelers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and inspect parts for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

• Good visual attention to fine details, surface conditions, and workmanship.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, metal components, and moderate noise.
