Quality Inspector – 1st Shift
Pay:$20.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team! The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections
- Use measuring tools and testing equipment to verify product specifications
- Perform dimensional testing using a CMM
- Record inspection results and data in SPC systems
- Identify defects, deviations, and nonconformances
- Complete inspection check sheets and maintain accurate documentation
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist with product sorting and rework when needed
- Support internal and external quality audits
- Follow established QMS and cGMP requirements
- Assist with training and observing Inspector Packers
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Previous quality inspection experience preferred
- Experience with measuring tools and inspection equipment
- CMM experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately document inspection results
- Ability to identify and communicate quality issues
- Ability to work well with both Production and Quality teams
