The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials and processes meet company quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting items, identifying defects and maintaining quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify defects or issues and report findings
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines
- Work with teams to resolve quality issues
- Support continuous improvement of quality processes
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant experience in quality control or inspection
- One year of inspection experience preferred
- Strong mathematical skills, including decimals, fractions, and basic geometry knowledge.
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
- Basic competency in Math skills / calculations of decimals and fractions.
- Computer skills sufficient to complete inspection reports and quality records.
- Experience with blueprint reading, inspection tools, or equipment preferred.
- Ability to pass a Jeager and Ishihara vision test.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow procedures and guidelines
- Basic communication skills
