Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
Holiday Schedule: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, 8-hour shifts
Overtime: Potential Friday and Saturday overtime


Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Technician to support quality testing in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for testing raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality specifications and applicable standards.
The ideal candidate has experience with quality control testing in a manufacturing or laboratory environment, strong attention to detail, good computer and math skills, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and reliable attendance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing of raw materials and finished products according to established specifications and procedures.
  • Accurately document, enter, and maintain QC test results and records.
  • Communicate quality results and concerns to production and plant management in a timely manner.
  • Review incoming raw material Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and verify required approvals.
  • Monitor laboratory equipment calibration and maintain accurate calibration records.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies, materials, and chemicals.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory samples and assist with sample shipments.
  • Create laboratory batches and maintain formula integrity as required for testing, process control, and product development.
  • Develop an understanding of plant processes and controls as they relate to product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with production while representing the quality function as an active member of the team.
  • Participate in special projects related to safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and work environment.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment and testing materials are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions and follow all required safety procedures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established environmental, health, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a related field OR high school diploma/GED with 1–3 years of quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing testing experience.
  • Previous QC testing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good mathematical and computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule & Training
The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, working four 10-hour shifts. Overtime opportunities may be available on Fridays and Saturdays.
Training may initially take place on first shift, so candidates must be flexible and willing to work different schedules during the training period.
Schedule may change based on business and operational needs.
