Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist

Location: 47th Ave & Roosevelt – Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift must be able to work 10-12 hours shifts
Overtime: Frequent overtime available, including Saturdays as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards through inspections, testing, data analysis, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Collect and evaluate production samples to verify product quality and integrity.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and other inspection tools.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain records of inspections, test results, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor production quality and investigate product or process defects.
  • Stop production when significant quality or safety concerns arise.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience conducting product inspections and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspections throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.

Requirements

  • Steel-toe boots are required.
  • Must be able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
