Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Environment & Agriculture business. This position is on-site in Norwell, MA.
The *** Norwell Laboratory is recognized as having one of the most sophisticated, cost-effective environmental chemistry laboratories in the United States, offering: ultra-trace analytical chemistry specifically established for supporting risk-based site assessment and risk management programs. Our team provides comprehensive environmental services to government and private industry clients, leading the way in the development of new approaches for environmental assessment and remediation.
Our laboratory in accredited under both the NELAC Institute Standard and the Department of Defense Quality System Manual for PCBs, pesticides, and new and emerging contaminants such as PFAS.
The Quality Assurance Auditor's primary responsibility is to assure that programs are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations/standards and quality assurance plans by performing data audits and facilities inspections, and other environmental quality assurance program support.

Responsibilities
Conducts work within prescribed budget or discusses with management prior to conducting task
Plans and conducts assigned audits and report reviews and generates reports of results
Performs assigned internal facility and technical (critical phase) inspections and desk audits to assess compliance with regulatory or project-specific requirements
Reports findings to management and verifies responses to address deficiencies
Assists with auditing records and reports for compliance to stated requirements
Develops or assists in the development and maintenance of procedures and maintains controlled documents
May monitor and report on status of key quality system activities
May verify the effectiveness of corrective actions

Key Qualifications
Associates degree in a related field with one year of technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
