Location: Avon, NY

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting manufactured parts, performing first article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections, and supporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections.
• Operate manual and programmable CMM equipment and other precision inspection instruments.
• Run approved CMM inspection programs and identify dimensional or quality issues.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and job requirements.
• Audit existing processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Verify inspection gauges and tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Ensure gauges and inspection equipment are in good working condition.
• Review job packets for required quality paperwork and documentation.
• Complete quality-related data entry and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Assist production with sorting, deburring, reworking, and cleaning parts as needed.
• Perform material handling using skid jacks, cranes, and tow motors.
• Communicate quality issues with production and management teams.

• Associate degree (AA/AS/AAS), quality certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • GD&T
  • Blueprint reading
  • Statistics
  • Sampling methods
  • Gauging methods
  • Process control

• CMM setup and programming experience using Zeiss Calypso and/or PC-DMIS. preferred
• Experience with metrology and precision inspection equipment preferred
• Knowledge of gauge calibration preferred
• ISO auditing experience is a plus.
• CNC machining or precision manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• High school diploma with a technical certificate or 2+ years of manufacturing or machining experience in a Quality role.
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

• Monday – Friday 7 am to 330 pm
