Job Summary:
NESCO Resource is hiring an experienced Quality Technician Admin for a temp-to-perm opportunity supporting the Quality Department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, documentation, and data analysis, while also supporting customer returns and internal quality processes. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, technical inspection expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Shift:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay:$22.00 - $24.00/Hour (Based On Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Certificates of Compliance for finished products.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Operate inspection and testing equipment within the QC department.
- Scan and log MRR (Material Review Report) tickets accurately.
- Facilitate customer returns, including coordination of rework activities.
- Inspect products to support production flow and resolve capacity issues.
- Collect and analyze quality data using Excel.
- Generate detailed quality reports.
- Support and maintain shelf-life programs.
- Train inspection personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Halt production processes when quality issues are identified.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in a quality or inspection role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, height gauges, and computerized testing equipment).
- Ability to perform full product inspections independently.
- Experience reading blueprints, including GD&T knowledge.
- Electrical testing experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, or move throughout the workday as needed.
- Perform detailed inspection work requiring high visual accuracy.
- Use of hands and fingers for operating inspection tools and computer equipment.
- Ability to maintain focus and precision in a fast-paced environment.
